A brief introduction

What I enjoy most is helping others be successful in the best way I can, which in my case is providing analytics, insights, strategic direction and operational structure to high-growth teams.

I started 1vy BV because I saw a gap between the thorough, but slow and cumbersome growth strategy and analysis practiced by large multinationals, and the agile, but often chaotic and opportunistic approach of startups and scale-ups. I believe there is a middle ground that is structured, focused and purposeful, as well as iterative, quick and pragmatic.

I have over 15 years experience in marketing, analytics and growth strategy and hold an Economics degree (cum laude) from Universiteit Utrecht.

I started 1vy BV because I wanted to focus on helping growth leaders at SaaS Scaleups and Corporate Startups succeed.

Through data, analysis and simple but effective frameworks, I help bring structure, focus and clarity. This allows teams to work together more effectively on achieving success. And have more fun in the process!

Hedera

Hedera (since acquired by Cognizant) was a boutique growth strategy consulting firm. I joined as employee #4 in the Netherlands and helped the firm grow to 15 consultants.

I helped clients such as Microsoft, Philips, Sanoma, Motrac Linde and PON Holdings launch new propositions and enter new markets.

Marketing Analytics Manager

Microsoft

At Microsoft I was responsible for maximizing marketing ROI and optimizing the local marketing strategy through insights.

Here I learned all the marketing analytics basics, such as how to work with large datasets, run A/B tests, analyze email performance, and set up web analytics.

Strategy Consultant

Stratelligence

Stratelligence is focused on helping public organizations make better decisions through adaptive and predictive analytical models.

I wrote my master thesis about Real Options Models. As a result I was asked by the Delta Commissioner to apply this model to evaluate Dutch flood management plans over the next 100 years, given uncertainty about climate change.
